H.P lovecraft’s work considerably effected me when I first read them. The mood and atmoshere was contrary to many weird fiction writersi had read before(with the exception of William Hope Hodgson)-it was so emotive and fluid-almost real (plus I grew up in a small costal area near Brisbane and alway found the local legend aspect pretty cool). Anyways, whilst sessional teaching concept art I decided to do these little ideas in homage to my childhood feelings toward Lovecraft’s works.I was Chuft to do them and they helped build my confidence a little.
